Our performance lineup for 2026-2027
Two Trains Running: A 1990 play by August Wilson, part of The Pittsburgh Cycle. Set in 1968 in Pittsburgh’s Hill District, it explores changing attitudes toward race through the lives of urban Black characters.
Chicago (Story): Based on the 1926 play by Maurine Dallas Watkins, the plot follows Velma and Roxie as they hire lawyer Billy Flynn to turn their murder cases into sensational headlines.
Hadestown: A musical by Anaïs Mitchell that blends the Greek myths of Orpheus and Eurydice with Hades and Persephone to explore contemporary themes.
A Soldier's Play: A play by Charles Fuller set on a segregated US Army installation. It is a loose adaptation of Billy Budd and follows the investigation into the murder of a Sergeant in an all-Black unit.
